Your needs and budget

Are you looking for a dining table, a side table, a desk or a console? What size do you need it to be? How much do you want to spend? There are many different designs and styles that can be applied to any piece, so determining style, size and budget is key.

02

Type of wood

There are literally hundreds of types of wood for you to choose from. The texture, grain, colour, hardness, figure and weight are all things you can consider. However, you don't have to be a timber expert! It's a critical part of the consultation process and you will be given suggestions that meet your requirements. Sometimes unexpected!

Style of table

Depending on your design asthetic and budget, there are different options for you to consider. If you like things more rustic you might prefer something made with reclaimed wood. Or is you just love wood, a dining table made with two live edges is a beautiful choice. Or maybe you want a side table that is roughly the right size, but has no straight edges and is a quirky piece of wood.

Colour

Now you have an idea on the type of wood, do you want to add a splash of colour? Choosing a contrasting colour to the wood - like a turquoise, navy blue or red - makes a real impact in any room. Having a tonal colour - like a chocolate brown or soft gold - will work to enhance the grain and figure in the wood.
